Is it just me or are females significantly easier to shop for? Maybe it’s because I’m a girl and I know exactly what I would want. For this gift guide, I will be listing 5 products that I think would make a great gift for any lucky lady.
1.) Gift Cards (around $50.00 +/-) – I think a gift card is a great gift for any female. Females are usually picky with what they want so why not let them choose? I would recommend gift cards to Sephora, Nordstrom (can also be used at makeup counters in Nordstrom), Victoria’s Secret, Fredericks of Hollywood, Forever 21, Wet Seal, etc. It depends on the age of the person receiving the gift and what you want them to get. If its clothes, get a gift card for a clothing store. If it’s lingerie, get them a gift card for a lingerie store. From a personal standpoint, I would prefer a gift card to a lingerie store. Every girl, young or old, needs a nice set of lingerie. High quality bras and underwear can make a world of difference in how the body feels throughout the day. 2.) Fragrance (Price varies) – Who doesn’t love fragrance? My biggest recommendation would be Bath & Body Works. Their glass bottle perfumes start at $29.50 and are usually on sale for b3g2 free. The same goes for the plastic bottle Fine Fragrance Mists. But since it’s the holidays, it’s easy to find them at b3g3 free. At a price like that, you can shop for 6 individual people. Best part is that at Bath & Body Works, everybody is allowed to exchange their item if they don’t like the fragrance you picked out. If you buy all 6 for one person, chances are they will like at least one of the fragrances you pick for them. And just to throw this out there, Bath & Body Works regularly has deals where you can get $10 off of a $30 purchase or a free item with select purchases. 3.) Manicure & Pedicure or a Massage (about $70.00 depending on the salon) – I think this is better suited for ladies who are deserving of some pampering, particularly mothers. I can’t imagine a mom who wouldn’t want a relaxing day at the salon or spa. I mean, look at the picture. Who doesn’t want that? Photo from http://www.spaloneuphoria.com.
4.) Makeup Brushes and/or a Palette ($20.00 and higher) – Makeup brushes make a big difference in how a person looks after finishing their makeup. A person can go from looking like they’re wearing makeup to looking airbrushed and flawless without any harsh lines. If not makeup brushes, a makeup palette will be great for anybody who is into doing their makeup. I would highly recommend Coastal Scents for full brush sets and eyeshadow palettes. 5.) Something High End (around $35 to $50) – I know this is a weird way to title a gift but I actually think this is a great gift. If you have ever shopped at Clinique or Lancome, you’ll know that they are always having a promotion for free gifts with purchase. Clinique regularly has makeup bags full of goodies that they give with purchases of around $30.00. Lancome does the same thing but usually with larger purchases around $60.00. You can buy one or two high end items at full price and receive an arm full of extras that end up making the purchase worth it. Plus, any lady would be happy to own something from a prestige brand.
