The theme for this month’s ipsy bag is Destination Beauty. I suppose that means that the products that were chosen for this month’s bag are products that can be used whether you’re traveling or at home. I guess any beauty product would have fit into the theme of Destination Beauty, haha. This month’s bag consisted of 4 products instead of the usual 5. But I was quite impressed with the bag. Before the ipsy bag arrived at my house, I was unenthused and wasn’t excited about anything. After trying each product out, I ended up liking everything.
My favorite thing is the actual bag. The bag is the artwork of a real person! I think that’s pretty cool. It’s supposed to be an abstract design of the streets of California. Based off of the pictures, I thought that the bag would be textured, but it’s not. Talk about detailed work!
This is the fourth consecutive bag that I’ve been happy with. If you’re interested in your own ipsy bag, please sign up via my referral link. It’s $10/mo which is an absolute steal for what you get.

Be a Bombshell Eyeshadow Quad in Bora Bora
I was originally unexcited about this eyeshadow quad because the colors are unappealing to me. However, after actually using the eye shadows, I fell in love. The shadows have great pigmentation and they’re super buttery. I’m highly impressed with the quality. They blend like a dream and that gold shade is to die for! It’s the perfect gold – not too orange, not too yellow, not bronze-gold. It’s simply the perfect gold shade.
Nicole by O.P.I Roughles Nail Polish in “On what Grounds?”
I’ve tried O.P.I polishes but I’ve never tried a textured polish. After trying this product out, I was quite impressed. The textured effect is great and the polish is long-lasting. The only thing I didn’t like about this polish was how it needed 3-4 coats of polish to get an opaque, textured look. Also, this nail polish was a pain to take off. That’s actually great for those who can leave their nail polish on however long they want. I, personally, have to remove my polish the night before I go to work. It took me twice as long to take off the textured polish compared to a smooth polish, but it’s still way better than taking off a glitter polish.
Klorane Soothing and Relaxing Eye Patches w/ Soothing Cornflower
I love eye patches so I was happy to see this in my ipsy bag. I use crystal collagen eye masks once or twice a week and they have a very refreshing feel to them. In comparison to the crystal collagen eye masks, the Klorane patches are less messy and easier to apply. However, I didn’t find these to be as hydrating as I would like. I prefer my crystal collagen eye masks because they’re made from a material that is plumped up with an anti-aging liquid. The crystal collagen eye masks are more refreshing, have anti-aging properties, and are cheaper than the Klorane patches. I was happy to have the Klorane eye patches but I wouldn’t repurchase.
Bare Minerals Lipstick Mini in Get Ready
Whaaaat? Everybody got a Bare Minerals product in their bag this month! This was my first time using a Bare Minerals lipstick and I was highly impressed. The color is a universal shade for most skin tones and the formula is amazing. It’s lightweight and ultra moisturizing.
