Holy moly! Can you believe that I got everything that’s shown in the photo courtesy of Influenster? If you haven’t heard of Influenster, it’s basically a program where the company sends you a variety of items to test out and give your opinion on. All you have to do is spread your opinion on the products via social media. I have a link in the sidebar that will direct you to Influenster if you’re interested. You can also click the Go VoxBox logo. Influenster has introduced me to several great products in the past such as Crest 3D White Strips, Secret Clinical Deodorant (now a holy grail product for almost a year), plenty of nail accessories, and tons of makeup products.
I’m also signed up to get the Vow VoxBox which is designed for bride-to-be’s to test out. I looked at the cheat sheet and one of the products being sent out is Olay Regenerist Tone Perfect Cream! I’m in that phase where I’m talking about marriage with my boyfriend but we’re not in a rush to make plans for a venue or catering. We’re still planning things like buying a house, cohabiting for a month or two (to see if we can handle sharing money and responsibility), and then we’ll actively plan a wedding once we’re positive that we can handle each other 24/7 for the rest of our lives. We’ve done a great job of handling each each other over the past 3 years but people can easily grow to hate each other once big money is thrown in to the picture. Anyway, I’m getting off track, aren’t I?
Influenster is the greatest testing website that I’ve ever come across. I participate in L’Oreal product testing, Allure Beauty Enthusiasts, SircleSamples, and PinchMe. None of them compare to Influenster (though I am grateful towards all of the companies). What I love the most about Influenster is that almost all of the products that are sent for testing purposes can easily be found and repurchased in a drugstore! I highly recommend signing up for Influenster if you’re active on social media.

My favorites from this VoxBox were the Profoot Pedi Rock, the Vitamin Shoppe Shake Bottle, and the tampons (of course). The pedi rock was surprisingly cushion-y and easy to hold. It did an amazing job at making my feet smooth and soft. I was so impressed with it that I bought another pedi rock to use on my boyfriend’s feet. Each rock can be used a number of times depending on the condition of your feet. I think it’s well worth the $7.00 to have my feet feeling like I had a spa treatment. I also loved the Vitamin Shoppe Shake Bottle simply because it had a little 3D asterisk in the bottle that helped shake together all of your ingredients. I’ve never seen a bottle come with a handy little mixer so that feature won me over. Lastly, I loved the Playtex Tampons because, well, they did their job. They’re comfortable to get in because the applicator is plastic and they feel like nothing once inserted. Playtex is my #1 brand for tampons.
My least liked product from the VoxBox was the Profoot Triad Orthodic. They’re insoles designed to be placed in your shoes to provide comfort. I put them in my running shoes and at first, they were really great. However, the insoles aren’t the best for anybody exercising on natural land versus the gym. When I was going downhill, my feet kept sliding towards the front of my shoes (due to the material of the insoles) and the design didn’t help keep my feet in place. My feet actually started to get burns from the friction caused by the insoles. However, exercising was quite pleasant on flat land.
I actually didn’t try the protein shakes because I felt like they were better suited for my brother. He actively participates in marathons and I thought he’d appreciate the drinks more than I would. He said that they were pleasant and easy to drink. He felt nourished and refreshed without feeling weighed down.
I did give the blueberry almonds a try and they were surprisingly tasty. I’m not a fan of anything that has a jelly texture or that tastes like artificial fruit (jelly, fruity cake filling, cooked fruit pies, etc). But these almonds tasted like natural sweet blueberries and almonds. I ended up eating the whole pack by myself and I’ll gladly pick these almonds up the next time I’m out grocery shopping for snacks.
The last items are the yogurt coupon and the bath salts. I haven’t redeemed the yogurt coupon yet though I’m expecting to love the yogurt. I haven’t tried the bath salts either simply because I haven’t had time to sit back and soak in a tub.
